Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 ocurre si en el futuro una enfermedad o un accidente nos impide expresar nuestra voluntad? Para estas situaciones existe el <strong>Documento de Voluntades Anticipadas (DVA)<\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n conocido como testamento vital.<\/p>\n<p>Este documento legal, regulado en Catalu\u00f1a principalmente por la <a href=\"https:\/\/boe.es\/buscar\/act.php?id=BOE-A-2001-2353#a8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ley 21\/2000, sobre los derechos de informaci\u00f3n concernientes a la salud del paciente<\/strong><\/a>, te permite dejar por escrito instrucciones claras sobre los tratamientos m\u00e9dicos que deseas o rechazas recibir si te encuentras en una situaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, en el DVA puedes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Designar un representante:<\/strong> Una persona de tu confianza que act\u00fae como tu interlocutor con el equipo sanitario, asegurando que tu voz sea escuchada.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Expresar tus valores vitales:<\/strong> Para que los m\u00e9dicos comprendan el porqu\u00e9 de tus decisiones.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Disponer sobre la donaci\u00f3n de \u00f3rganos:<\/strong> Tal como permite el <a href=\"https:\/\/boe.es\/buscar\/act.php?id=BOE-A-2010-13312#a2123\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>C\u00f3digo Civil de Catalu\u00f1a<\/strong><\/a>, puedes incluir tus deseos sobre la donaci\u00f3n de \u00f3rganos o cuerpo, o sobre tu entierro o incineraci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Para que sea v\u00e1lido, el documento debe formalizarse ante notario o ante tres testigos id\u00f3neos que cumplan ciertos requisitos de independencia. Una vez otorgado, es fundamental que se incorpore a tu historia cl\u00ednica para que el personal sanitario tenga constancia de su existencia y pueda cumplir tus deseos llegado el momento.<\/p>\n<h3>Nuestro consejo<\/h3>\n<p>Otorgar un testamento vital es un acto de gran responsabilidad y previsi\u00f3n.
